3D visualiser/industrial designer

Brand van Egmond is hiring a 3D visualiser/industrial designer to join its team in Naarden, Netherlands.
Brand van Egmond is a studio where a team of people realize the ideas and designs of the founder William Brand. The company is highly driven and internationally oriented and creates haute couture lighting for the most beautiful spaces in residences, hotels and restaurants. We are located in Naarden (Amsterdam region).
Due to increasing international success are we looking for a dynamic 3D visualiser/industrial designer (40 hours).
You will work on high-end custom made lighting design projects in the residential and/or commercial sector.
You are able to interpret design briefings and develop these in strong and aesthetically beautiful 3D modelling and renderings that fit the Brand van Egmond identity.
You provide continuous overview and are comfortable with all stages of modelling – from concepts to detailed design and construction. You must be able to translate the design into production drawings for immediate realisation in our own atelier.
You are self-organized, ability to work on several projects at the same time.
You work directly with the lead designer on tasks and deliverables to ensure the facilitation of a project’s completion.
You are willing to contribute and collaboration, share skills across teams and work well as part of a diverse and energetic team.
You have a Dutch residence and work permit and you live at a maximum distance of 40km from our head office in Naarden.
We are looking for a person with the following skills:
- interpret AutoCAD 2D drawings to a high level and translate these into photo realistic renders using V-Ray
- modelling expertise in Rhino
- produce high quality 3D models of interior scenes in either Rhino (or 3DS Max)
- ability to use Adobe CS (including Photoshop and InDesign)
- good understanding of lighting, camera composition, and real-world scale/detailing
- experience in product/lighting design and/or interior design
- understanding of luxury/ high-end private residential projects
- solid knowledge of various fabrication/installation
- able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
- high-level problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to multitask through multiple projects
- appreciate and interest in art and design
- accuracy and attention to detail
- ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines
- excellent written and verbal communication in the English language
- flexible, self-motivated, and a good team spirit
