About the practice
We are the leading practice specialising in classical and traditional architecture, and contextual urban design. With offices in Winchester and London, the practice is run by Nigel Anderson, Hugh Petter, George Saumarez Smith, Robbie Kerr, Darren Price and Robert Cox. As design directors they lead their own projects, with their own design ethos, while all working together as experts in the field of classical and traditional architecture. About the role
We are looking for talented and experienced architects/technologists to work with our architectural team in our Winchester office. You will be responsible for bespoke high-end residential projects at various work stages, and will need to bring solid experience of the design process, technical detailing and contract administration. You must be capable of operating within multi-disciplinary teams, and will need to demonstrate relevant job running skills. Prior experience of operating ArchiCAD is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided. Prior experience with classical and/or traditional architecture is also advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- five plus years’ professional experience in the high-end residential sector, focused in RIBA stages 4-7
- prior experience designing and detailing bespoke high-end residential projects
- ability to work accurately and efficiently, and to multi-task on a number of projects with precision
- strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and be fluent in written and spoken English
