Shop and space planning construction project manager

Lush Cosmetics is hiring a shop and space planning construction project manager to join its team in Poole, London or remotely.
This position is for parental leave cover.
Salary banding: £36,000 – £45,000

Responsibilities:
- multi skilled approach providing a smooth delivery, providing an end to end service
- supporting with the operating procedures for all projects
- ensuring internal documents and folders are accurately completed for historical use
- multiple cross country work – bringing efficiencies and alignment in processes for all markets
- experience of and ensuring correct contracts are in place for safeguarding of the business.
- ensuring budgets are created collaboratively with the team, accurately and managed effectively to reflect opportunities
- reporting of Capex spends according to internal finance and property systems
- strong communication with key internal and external stakeholders
- experience of and working parallel with quantity surveyors
- experience of and ensuring correct contracts are in place for safeguarding of the business
- management of store closures and dilaps
- collaborative ownership with the team of projects no matter how big or small
- value engineer construction costs to support design and to meet business needs
- onsite management inc H&S and safeguarding
- review existing pool of manufacturers and suppliers to meet business requirements
- management of fixtures & fittings including sourcing, manufacture, delivery and installation
- bring Lush ethics into every decision
- continued development of materials, sourcing and costs to suit business requirements
- providing support for any product range reviews and roll outs where required
- delivering the best customer service experience
Key requirements:
- this role will require travel as and when required, flexibility is key
- capability for extended travel across the UK&I Europe
- global support – think local act global
- passion for retail and shopping experiences, with added interest in future thinking
- working understanding of technology and computer skills
- taking a holistic approach to the business, with the ability to adapt to change
- strong ability to self manage
- the ability to see efficiencies, simplify and implement change
