Studio McLeod is seeking an architect or Part 1/2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

We are looking for a new team member who is motivated and has a passion for learning and crafting beautifully sculpted buildings. This team member could be a recently graduated Part 1 student or a fully qualified architect. We are looking for someone who is interested in all aspects of the profession i.e. the interaction of design, making and people. You will be involved in all aspects of our projects: working on mainly residential remodelling schemes and new build houses.
Required skills and experience
Please show any examples of your experience of the following:
- UK private residential design
- specification of materials and well-considered detailing
- UK building regulations and technical documentation
Preferred skills and experience:
- fast learner able to adapt to new challenges
- passion and understanding of how things go together
- excellent communication skills.
- working independently and as part of a team
- confident with production drawings
- good presentation skills
- well organised with good time management skills
- confidence with Vectorworks, and Twinmotion is ideal although we offer training
- experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Word and Excel
