Senior account executive

Alpha Kilo is seeking a senior account executive to join its team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing cultural communications agency, working across clients. Based in London, this role will provide the successful candidate with a good opportunity to learn a new approach to communications in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will speak fluent Italian, have between two to three years’ experience working in communications, established relationships with media, and excellent writing skills.
We are looking for someone who has experience writing press releases, organizing and executing events, and managing and running an efficient press office. We will seek to appoint someone who has a positive attitude, good energy, is resourceful and proactive. The role has the scope to develop within the agency.
Main responsibilities:
- day to day liaison with clients
- press release writing and distribution
- compiling client reports and overseeing media monitoring, including maintaining up to date lists and tracking coverage
- write and design presentations
- creating collateral for clients and agency with a diligent eye for detail
- secure regular media coverage through thoughtful, proactive, targeted pitching
- prioritise diverse workload and manage portfolio of accounts
- serve as the day-to-day contact for press, assisting with requests for products, interviews, etc.
- organize promotional events such as press conferences, exhibitions, visits and press trips
- attend client meetings and present professionally
- assist with event logistics including planning and day-of execution
- manage at least one member of staff
- build and maintain strong network of media contacts with all key titles
- support strategic planning and execution
- keep up to date with current and forthcoming fashion, culture, arts, consumer goods, interior and design trends, identifying news opportunities and creative new ways to garner coverage
Requirements:
- fluency in English and Italian is required
- at least three years PR experience in the luxury, shelter, art, design or lifestyle market
- excellent organization skills with the capability to multi-task and work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge and understanding of consumer magazines, national newspapers, digital outlets and other relevant media
- knowledge and interest of art, design, luxury and visual culture
- ability to work on deadlines
- excellent team skills and thrives in start-up culture
- brilliant eye for detail and creative writing
- efficient, organised with excellent time management skills
- excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- confident communicator
