A Designer at Heart is hiring a freelance interior Revit technician to join its team remotely.

A Designer at Heart is an award-winning, born-global, interior design consultancy specialising in serviced buildings. Focusing on PBSA, co-living, co-working and serviced flats, we work with developers to deliver lifestyles & on-brand spaces for active adults and younger generations.

We are looking for a freelance interior Revit technician to help with a specific project. The collaboration may last two to three months (for up to four days a week) starting at the end of January 2022 with the possibility for the right person to turn it into a more permanent position.

Role: freelance interior Revit technician

Tasks:

• to work closely with the founder and director, to deliver the concept design in 3D, including visuals/low res CGIs (modelling in Revit, rendering preferably using Enscape)
• to work on technical drawings, deliver full detailed interior tender and construction packages using Revit
• to liaise with the BIM Coordinator and deliver the full project in BIM

Skills:

• relevant experience in Revit, delivering interior design projects in a BIM environment
• able to work in a project environment, creating schedules of quantities, room schedules, door schedules, etc.
• ability to work in a family environment is essential, creating parametric families is a plus
• ability to manage time and priorities independently and deliver on tight deadlines
• good eye for detail, composition, colours, materials and an understanding of the full design process
• fluent written and spoken English
• a degree in architecture from an internationally recognised university

Equipment/software:

• applicants should be equipped with their own laptop/PC
• applicant should be proficient in the following software: Revit. Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Excel, Word, AutoCAD and Enscape is an advantage

Job description:

• this is a freelance position, applicants should be self-employed and able to send invoices
• the position is not location-based, we will consider applicants worldwide for remote work as long as they are fluent in English and available to work during CET working hours
• daily rate: depending on experience
