Reports to head of planning production
Cityscape Digital is looking for an Artworker to join our planning team. This role is for a sole Artworker, however, they would be part of a much larger department. The successful candidate must be capable of managing their own workload and must have excellent attention to detail, be organised and efficient, with experience working under tight deadlines.
We would like to find someone who is experienced in preparing large reports with large volumes of text updates, images and creation of maps, and they would also take on internal documentation updates and management of our website.
Roles and responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to
General:
- layout and input of data/text/diagrams/illustrations in technical documents and reports
- preparation and output of documents for digital and print delivery
- creation or reproduction of maps, tables and illustrations for inclusion within reports
- following existing document guidelines/templates/processes along with improving and automating workflows
- communicate with internal team about document requirements, project deadlines and specification
- Cityscape Digital website administration and updates duties
- use of existing Cityscape Digital templates and brand guidelines to maintain company corporate style
- internal document management and updates (letterhead, proposal documents, presentations etc.)
Required skills and experience:
- two to five years’ experience as an Artworker, handling large documents with a lot of text. Diagrams and images/illustrations
- proven experience managing your own time, juggling multiple projects and working to tight deadlines
- excellent knowledge of the Adobe suite, able to demonstrate specifically regular working in InDesign, illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
- attention to detail and ability to check own work for accuracy
- good communication skills – written and verbal
Desirable skills and experience:
- experience within the London planning industry (or equivalent) is considered desirable, but not required
- knowledge of Google G-Suite (email, docs, slides etc.)
