Re-a.d is hiring an intermediate architect to join its team in New York or Miami.
We are re-a.d (Architecture & Design), a young architecture office in New York and Miami working on projects at all scales. We are growing quickly and look for a mid-level architect to grow with us. The right candidate should be able to handle all phases of the projects and should not be afraid to take on different responsibilities.
Intermediate architect
Within the next six months you will be exposed to all phases of a project. The candidate should have three to five years’ of professional experience and a good understanding of AutoCAD and on how to create a full design drawing sets. We are doing all renderings, project development, and details in house. While you will learn with us, you should be able to demonstrate skills that are relevant to each phase of the project.
Duties and responsibilities:
- contribute on solving architectural problems in all phases of design
- coordinate with principal and other team members drawings, models and details
- prepare construction document in CAD to submit to DOB
- 3D Modeling for design exploration and client presentations
- 3D rendering
- prepare client presentations
- attend client presentations and prepare meeting minutes
- keep project budget and timeline in check
Required qualifications:
- eligible to work on the US
- professional degree in architecture
- ability to work on a fast-phase environment
- good communication skills
- good knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe suite, Rhino, SketchUp and V-Ray rendering
