Junior project manager
at Yellow Studio
Yellow Studio is seeking a junior project manager to join its New York team.
In this role, you will work together with our senior project manager and in-house design team to realize both small and large-scale productions worldwide. Projects range from large-scale televised shows to studio shows, concerts, exhibitions, and live events.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- day-to-day communication with clients, suppliers and contractors
- day-to-day supervision of the design team, to support where needed with research and presentations and ensure designers meet all client deadlines
- build out project timelines and have a clear understanding of the overall studio schedule
- schedule client presentations and manage principals calendar as needed
- build out fee proposals and project budgets in hand with senior project manager and principal
- manage project expenses and invoices, liaising with external bookkeeper and accountant
- occasional travel and onsite project management (domestic & international)
- responsible for booking all team travel (flights, accommodation, etc.)
- occasional PA support to principal & management of schedule
- office administration, ensure the studio is clean and well-stocked
- arrange photography for all projects
- manage studio social media
We are seeking someone with two plus years’ experience, a proactive approach and excellent follow-up; an ability to work independently and be self-motivated; and the ability to build a strong relationship with suppliers, contractors, and clients. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
