OCHRE is hiring a CAD illustrator to join its team remotely.

OCHRE is an exclusive lighting and furniture design company that was founded in 1996 in London. As well as selling directly to individuals, the majority of our clientele consist of leading international interior designers and architects. Ochre’s products can be seen in private residences, boutique hotels and restaurants throughout the world and we have showrooms in London and New York. Due to the success and continued growth of the business, we now seek a freelance CAD illustrator to join our team.
The role
We are looking for a CAD product illustrator who will work alongside our in-house design and production teams. Designs would include concept and technical drawings of products in 2D as well as 3D renderings of room sets, exhibition stands and showroom layouts. A proficiency in the use of InDesign is required to help produce advertisements, marketing materials, websites and brochures. A background in furniture and/or lighting design would be ideal but not essential.
The candidate
An individual who is proactive, creative, quick and efficient in the design and production of a variety of drawings and renderings. Proficiency in CAD software (Rhino or Autodesk or similar) is required with the ability to convert to different file formats. Experience in Photoshop and InDesign software is also essential. You may be required occasionally to work on Ochre premises.
This is a freelance role and expected commitment would be between 8 and 30 hours per week. A competitive hourly rate will be offered to the right candidate. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
