Vabel is looking for a recently qualified architect or experienced architectural assistant to join its London studio.
Vabel is a collective of designers, project managers and contractors who specialise in the creation and delivery of design led residential developments. We unify the creative, technical, and financial aspects of projects into a streamlined, cohesive process to deliver groundbreaking developments.
The role will involve working on mixed use projects from conception through to completion. The candidate should have strong design, communication and management skills and be passionate about materials and how buildings are crafted. Experience working on multi-unit residential schemes and a sound understanding of interior architecture would be an advantage.
The role would suit candidates who are passionate about working within a multidisciplinary company and those with an interest in the wider aspects of development and building procurement.
Key skills and experience:
- ARB qualified architect/RIBA Part 2 or equivalent qualification with experience working on UK residential and mixed-use projects
- demonstrate excellent design, 3D visualization and presentation skills
- excellent communication and reporting skills
- knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policy
- an understanding of typical construction concepts and ability to produce clear documentation to convey ideas to the wider team
