John McAslan + Partners, an international design-led studio with a wide and interesting portfolio of projects in areas including public realm, education, culture and transportation, are currently looking for a talented and experienced senior architectural/interior designer to join their Edinburgh studio.
About you
We are presently looking for talented, innovative, senior experienced architectural/interior designer to work closely with our architectural team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about both architectural and interior design, have minimum of five years’ experience in the industry working in high-end residential and commercial interiors. The successful candidate needs to provide a portfolio of real, high-end, completed projects.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- ability to develop concepts and ideas to a client brief
- excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- experience in high-end architectural/interior design, including FF+E
- experience in the project execution on site, communication and coordination
- experience in sourcing and specifying products
- highly organised with great attention to detail and possess strong record-keeping skills
- excellent time management
- ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- good English, both spoken and written
- knowledge of Revit/MicroStation, Photoshop, InDesign and Excel
