Thomas Alexander is seeking a talented Part 1 architectural assistant to join its London studio.
Thomas Alexander specialise in contemporary residential schemes, varying from high-end domestic projects, to innovative multi-unit residential developments. Our design process places an importance on refined detailing that is developed from a creative initial concept.
We are a young and vibrant team and offer a flexible working environment. Currently, the practice operates from our Ealing studio two days a week, with the remainder of the week spent working from home.
Applicants will benefit from exposure to the commercial side of running an architectural business and will be in the optimum environment to learn.
It is essential that prospective applicants have proficiency in Autodesk Revit and some practical experience would be also be advantageous.
Requirements:
- minimum BA(Hons) RIBA Part 1 qualification or equivalent, 2:1 or higher
- good design skills and willingness to work across all project phases
- proficiency in Revit
- familiar with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and SketchUp
- must be readily available to work in the UK and start employment with immediate effect
