Inkpen Downie Architecture & Design is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant and recently qualified architect to join its team in Colchester, UK.
We are a RIBA chartered practice seeking a talented Part 2 architectural assistant and recently qualified architect to join our studio in the heart of Colchester. The roles will help deliver a number of new exciting projects in East Anglia and London.
It would suit those who are looking to be involved in all work stages, from inception through to completion, on a variety of schemes which include one-off houses, community buildings, mixed-use developments and historic building projects.
Applicants must have good detailing and technical knowledge with proficiency in 3D BIM modelling. Vectorworks capability is desirable.
You should be able to demonstrate that you are/have:
- an enthusiastic team player
- have good detailing and problem solving experience
- experience of rendering software
- good collaboration and communication skills
- experience in surveying existing buildings
- have experience in running jobs
- ambition to develop in the role
- strong design confidence and rationale
- good materials knowledge
- working knowledge of current building regulations
- hold a full drivers licence
- eligible to work in the UK
