Tollgard is hiring a contracts consultant to join its team in London.
Tollgard is a renowned multidiscipline design company based in west London. Tollgard Contracts is the commercial supply division and provides design-led solutions for architects, interior designers, and businesses. Our strength lies in our experience, our dedicated personal approach, and the exceptional collection of luxury, modern and contemporary furniture brands.
We are looking for a passionate individual to promote and sell Tollgard’s key brand partners within the A&D community. You will be responsible for developing and servicing sales across all commercial sectors. Covering workspace, hospitality, healthcare, public and real estate developments.
You will work closely with the operations and logistics manager and be supported strategically by the contracts director.
It’s a full-time position based out of the Grosvenor Waterside Studio, although some flex will be allowed for home working.
Your role will include:
- servicing and maximizing UK sales leads
- proactively seek and generate new sales opportunities
- developing strong relationships within the A&D community
- promoting Tollgard and key brand partners to senior and project lead specifiers
- confidently able to specify alternative products for designers when required
- attend training in-house and externally, becoming an expert in technical products
- represent Tollgard agency/exclusive brands at trade shows and other events
- work closely with suppliers to understand their collection and maintain strong relationships
- maximizing margin in all areas of the sales process
Candidate profile essential:
- proactive
- creative and commercially minded
- a minimum of two plus years’ experience in furniture and interiors markets
- engaging client-facing skills
- ability to quickly understand project briefs
- service and sales driven
- self-motivated, innovative, and able to work on their own initiative
- an understanding of furniture and lighting manufacturing processes
- confident with dealing at a senior level
- strong in presentation skills and IT literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- seeking a non-conventional role
- team player
Candidate profile ideal:
- design degree
- experienced with In Design
- international project experience
