Structural engineer
We are seeking a structural engineer to join our enthusiastic team based in west London. Our company specialises in domestic and multi-residential unit schemes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to becoming a part of a hardworking, forwarding thinking, energetic, ambitious and growing business.
The successful candidate will be a confident, problem solver with a keen interest in all aspects of project delivery. Must have an inquisitive nature and be able to remain adaptable to work through problems to achieve targets. In addition to that, they must be able to confidently engage and negotiate with internal teams as well as external businesses and clients. Must be willing to seek out new challenges and strive to develop, represent the company in a professional manner to gain the confidence and trust of the client to ensure repeat business.

Candidate requirements:
- live in the UK (right to live/work in the UK)
- have a minimum qualification: BEng/BSc Civil/MSc/Structural Engineering
- possess a minimum of two to three years’ experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
- experienced based within residential works essential and a good knowledge of domestic and multi-unit residential schemes
- possess experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
- have knowledge of using engineering design software is desirable – TEKLA, TEDDS, AutoCAD and Revit)
- show experience in the management of preparation of drawings and projects
- good understanding of theories and analytical skills along with excellent problem-solving abilities
- have outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
- prepare your own designs, design calculations, drawings and project documents under the guidance of an Engineer
- experience in leading a team
Competitive salary from £50k to £60k. Flexible for candidates who have vast experience.
