New client coordinator
at The Modern House
The Modern House is seeking a new client coordinator to join its team in London.
Full-time, permanent contract
Junior to mid-level role
Reporting to: new client team manager
The Modern House is an estate agency that helps people live in more thoughtful and beautiful ways. We believe in design as a powerful force for good. Inspired by the principles of modernism, we represent design-led homes across the UK that pay attention to space, light, materials, nature and decoration.
What are we looking for in a new client coordinator?
We are looking for a highly-organised, personable and systems-oriented person with a genuine interest in architecture and design to join our growing appraisals team.
This role is a central link between our appraisals specialists, new clients, and a team of photographers. As such, it would suit someone who enjoys working closely with others and taking a flexible approach to problem solving.
What does the job involve day-to-day?
Prior experience in estate agency or property is not necessary as we will provide full training over the first six months of employment.
The new client coordinator is responsible for beginning every new client’s experience of listing their home with The Modern House. When clients request an appraisal with us, the new client coordinator oversees all administration and client service with a composed, courteous approach. The role requires managing multiple diaries, both internally and externally.
It is a largely client-oriented and office-based role, working closely with the new client assistant and new client team manager to ensure our service is exceptional.
There is a creative thread to this role – the successful candidate will oversee the types of homes that list with us, and work closely with our photographers.
This is a demanding, fast-paced role, and the successful candidate will be able to effectively manage and prioritise concurrent tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- communicating with potential new clients in an efficient and engaging manner
- being a frontline ambassador for the company
- handling appraisal requests, and setting up appointments for the appraisals team as quickly as possible
- scheduling photography with our team of freelance photographers, and assisting the new client team manager with their onboarding and relationship building
- ensuring that all appraisal enquiry data in is uploaded in a timely fashion to the database, and remains up to date and accurate
- managing incoming Terms of Business and other relevant sales documents
- verifying ID documentation for new clients and overseeing the team’s AML processes
- managing and auditing client data in the TMH database
- the above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other additional tasks
The Modern House is proud to provide equal opportunities to all. Every role is open to all individuals regardless of age, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.
The deadline for applications is 10:00am on Tuesday 3 May.
