Commercial coordinator

WilkinsonEyre is seeking a commercial coordinator to join its team in London.
Reporting to the commercial director, the role would be varied and fast paced, and will involve coordinating the commercial elements of a wide range of new and existing projects right across the practice.
The job will involve:
- supporting the commercial director in the commercial management of all existing and potential new projects in the office
- preparing fee proposals for both UK and international projects
- reviewing contractual terms and liaising with company insurers
- preparing resource plans and assisting in forecasting project costs
- supporting the maintenance of the commercial and financial information on all new and existing projects
- supporting the preparation analytical reports to support the monitoring and management of the financial performance of projects
- managing the administration of contracts, appointments and sub-consultancy agreements for all live projects
- working closely with the bid team, the communication team and the company directors
Profile:
- a background in administrative/financial or legal roles within the design or architectural industry would be an advantage
- understanding of the architectural design process, including the RIBA work stages (Or international equivalent) is preferable
- a general understanding and appreciation of key aspects of architectural, or design consultancy. Appointments or contracts would be an advantage
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- flexible and responsive attitude
- good time management and prioritisation skills, including the ability to adapt and change plans or direction, often at short notice
- strong numeracy skills
- a strong attention to detail
- able to manage multiple deadlines and parallel commitments
