Ridge and Partners is hiring a senior architect to join its team in Manchester, UK.
Our technical facilities portfolio is world class and we have recently secured a number of exciting new projects. Within the Ridge architecture team we also have a wealth of experience at designing manufacturing and F1 Teams facilities, education buildings, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings, offices and private one off commissions which results in a diverse and exciting practice.
Role and responsibilities
Architect/architectural assistants to join our (over 50 architects extending throughout Ridge) skilled architecture team, working on workplace design projects for high profile design clients across multiple sectors, each presenting their own design opportunities and responses.
You will be based at our Manchester city centre offices with over 80 staff covering a multitude of different disciplines including architecture, project management, cost management, building surveying and engineering.
Experience and skills required:
- design leadership, capable of leading multidisciplinary design teams
- strong design and technical detailing skills – Revit experience is essential
- advanced 3D capabilities
- ability to express ideas effectively, orally, graphically and in writing
- experience in preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals
- knowledge of UK best practice standards
- post-qualification experience
- candidates must be able to demonstrate clear understanding of latest workplace space planning principles, interior design and delivering to design standards
