Southstudio is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in Tunbridge Wells, UK.
Southstudio Architects are seeking an ambitious RIBA Part 2 architectural assistant to join their growing Tunbridge Wells office. We currently have a range of exciting projects in London and the South East, including private and commercial residential projects and a significant cultural redevelopment in central Tunbridge Wells. The role will involve working closely with the directors to design and deliver these projects.
The selected candidate will be:
- a RIBA qualified Part 2 architectural assistant with at least one years’ experience in a UK practice
- a confident team player who can support projects at all RIBA work stages, with a flair for design and the confidence and intellectual rigour to propose ideas and follow them through
- organised with good presentation skills and a knowledge of architectural detailing
- self-motivated and flexible to suit individual project requirements
- a good communicator who will represent Southstudio at all times
- highly proficient in AutoCad and SketchUp
- proficient in the Adobe Suite
Working with Southstudio:
- salary: negotiable subject to experience and generally in line with RIBA salary guides
- holidays: 20 days per year plus a Christmas break of around one week, with additional study leave offered while undertaking Part 3
