Architectural assistant/urban designer
at Cross Works
Cross Works is on the lookout for an architectural assistant/urban designer (Part 2 or equivalent) to join its growing team in London.
We are a friendly, enthusiastic and highly motivated collective, looking to grow sustainably to meet an increased demand across a variety of sectors.
We’d like the new recruit to be a long-standing member of the Cross Works collective, so the role would be best suited to an ambitious designer who wishes to develop their career in a young and fast-growing business.
We’re currently working on architectural work at a variety of scales and typologies, and on some large-scale masterplanning schemes.
The following knowledge and capabilities will be required in order to be shortlisted for interview:
- architectural qualifications at RIBA Part 2 (or equivalent) with at least two years of demonstrable professional experience
- excellent design skills, with an interest in large-scale work (mixed-use buildings and masterplans)
- must be highly creative; to be demonstrated in the portfolio
- comprehensive command of Revit would be very beneficial
- excellent command of AutoCAD, Rhino or SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential for consideration
- capabilities in GIS are a bonus
- team player with excellent communication skills
- strong command of the English language, although a native English speaker is not essential; international candidates are very much encouraged to apply
Competitive salary (dependent on experience and capabilities).
