Casper Mueller Kneer is seeking an ambitious architect/architectural assistant to join our team in London or Berlin to work on high profile international projects. We are an architectural practice with a global reach and a particular reputation for producing distinct display spaces for the arts, culture and fashion.
Important projects include the critically acclaimed galleries for White Cube in Bermondsey, London, exhibition designs for the Barbican and the Wellcome Trust in London as well as many collaborations with major international fashion brands.
The practice has received many awards, including an RIBA National Award, a Civic Trust Commendation, the AIA UK Design Excellence Award, the AJ Retrofit Award, The Chicago Atheneum International Architecture Award and an Architzer A+ global Award amongst others.
The practice has offices in London, Berlin and Seoul. It works with an international team and projects are located across the UK and Europe, as well as Asia and North America. We want to interview candidates who know our work and are interested in our approach.
Your role
We have a vacancy for an ambitious design focussed Part 2 architectural assistant/Part 3 architect to join our international team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on all work stages of a range of high profile international architecture and interior design projects.
Skills and experience required:
- talented designer with an eye for detail
- experience in detailing and work packages of high profile architecture or interior design projects
- knowledge and interest in materials and their specification
- excellent communication skills, confident and approachable
- great initiative and independent
- strong team player
- proficiency in 2D Vectorworks, SketchUp and V-Ray of advantage
- proficiency in Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- minimum RIBA Part 2/3 or equivalent and three to five years’ of experience working on high profile architectural and/or interior design projects
