ACPV Architects has an opportunity for a proposal coordinator to join its team in Milan.

ACPV Architects is a leading international architectural practice, and this role is based in Milan.
Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel are the founding partners. The practice counts on a staff of 130+, coordinated by eight partners. The firm works internationally, developing complex projects on all scales in collaboration with a qualified network of specialist consultants.
The proposal coordinator will be responsible for preparing high quality pre-qualification and bid submissions, ensuring that responses to opportunities are written to the highest possible standard. We want common systems, processes and approaches so that, for example, templates and experience are in the same format.
This full time, permanent role is ideal for someone who is interested in the business generation side of architecture and design.
Key responsibilities:
- maintain, update and refine a library of standard texts, fee amounts and practice information for bids and proposals
- vet all incoming RFPs/RFQs, identifying project specific risks and opportunities within new projects
- liaise with the new business directors to develop a complete understanding of requirements for specific RFPs, bids and new work proposals
- manage the planning and collection of materials required for specific RFPs, incl. coordination with external consultants
- support the new business team in preparing bid and tender responses using Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and project management applications to track the status of associated tasks
- maintain an asset library of relevant submission documents, previous successful responses, feedback, company information, and other related certificates and records.
Qualities and skills required:
- previous experience in a similar business development role within the architecture, engineering, construction or professional service industry
- experience putting together fee proposals for design services in the EU, UK and/or the Middle East
- knowledge of architectural and engineering scope of services according to main international standards (RIBA, AIA, etc)
- excellent knowledge of both Italian and English
- excellent time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- strong organisational and administrative, proofreading and document production skills; adept in MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and InDesign
