Project architect

Coull Architecture is looking for a project architect to join its team in London.
This is a permanent position that requires a hands-on approach to working with the design, consultants and contractor teams. Comprehensive experience working on all aspects of architectural design is beneficial including responsibility from the development of design concepts to drawing documentation production and construction administration.
Responsibilities:
- lead a large commercial project, developing the Stage 4 design and onto construction drawings as well as co-ordinating a sequential phasing for the construction
- setting out and detailed construction drawings, specification writing, tender procurement, planning applications and discharging of conditions
- project management and on-site supervision
- to support the team on a number of smaller residential projects (refurbishments and new-builds for domestic clients)
Qualifications/skills:
- minimum of three years’ experience in the professional practice of architecture, including all phases of design and construction
- demonstrate understanding of the planning process, construction detailing and building regulations, including the latest revisions
- knowledge of the JCT building contract and familiarity of the Party Wall Act
- ArchiCAD and Adobe Creative Suite required
- Pages, Numbers and Maxwell; MS Office (Word and Excel); Spark, Slack, Asana and Zoom preferred
