SOTA Design is seeking an architectural technician to join its team in the Cotswolds, UK.
We are looking for a creative architectural technician and/or a technically minded Part 2 architectural assistant to join our practice based in the heart of the Cotswolds.
SOTA Design was founded in 2019 by a friendly and innovative husband and wife team who are now looking to grow the practice due to several exciting new commissions.
You would be working predominantly on contemporary style projects including: Para 80 houses; one-off homes in the Cotswolds ranging from £800k – £12 million; luxury boutique hotels; one-off bespoke holiday homes in Cornwall and abroad; and extensions and alterations to local listed buildings. Your focus would primarily be RIBA Work Stage 4; technical drawing and the preparation of construction packages; both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
- we would consider both part time and full time applicants and the option for flexible working hours is provided
- we use Vectorworks, so prior knowledge to working with this programme would be advantageous
- experience of technical drawing one to three years’
- must have experience in the high end private residential sector
- salary negotiable, depending on experience
We are flexible on requirements but you must be confident enough or to aspire to be (!) innovative and open minded within detailed design when it comes to tender stage and onsite work.
We are based at Far Peak, near Northleach in a brand new office space which is light, airy and comfortable. There’s a selection of other business’ onsite including a gym, restaurant/bar and climbing wall; great for more interesting lunch breaks!
