Freelance architect or Part 2 architectural assistant
at Vickers Architects
Vickers Architects is seeking a freelance architectural assistant or qualified architect to join its team in London.
Located in Haringey, North London, we are interested in hearing from those wishing to work either remotely, in the office, or a mixture of both.
With an increasing workload we are looking for someone to join us and ideally become an integral part of the practice’s growth. We have a mix of commercial and residential retrofit projects and we pride ourselves on the strong relationships we form with our clients which makes our work such a joy.
We’re keen to hear from people from all backgrounds and are very open to flexible working arrangements.
The ideal candidate will have:
- a strong interest in sustainable design, including retrofit and Passivhaus
- the ability to work at all RIBA Stages
- experience of Microstation, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
- great visualisations skills
- confidence in working with consultants, contractors, specialists and suppliers
- excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- relevant UK experience
The hourly rate for the role will be £18 to £25 depending upon experience.
