Tala Fustok is looking for an interior designer and a senior interior designer/architect to join its interior design studio in west London.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced studio with growth forecast over the next few years. Our approach to project is holistic and we are looking for all-rounders who want the opportunity to quickly run projects.

The ideal candidates will have at least four years experiences for the interior designer position and a minimum of six years for the senior position. The candidates would have worked on every stage of the design process. 

 Experience and skills: 

• excellent CAD skills – Vectorworks
• drawing intent and construction packages (ideally in both residential and commercial projects)
• excellent attention to detail and able to draw details to a high standard (bespoke furniture, joinery,…)
• have strong FF&E knowledge (both vintage and contemporary) and being able to producer FF&E specification and schedules to a high standard
• able to produce concept visuals (SketchUp, photoshop, render programs)
• able to put together material boards 
• site experience to ensure projects are in keeping with the design intent, ensuring quality and compliance with statutory requirements
• liaising and conducting meetings with all the actors of our industry (from suppliers to contractors to clients) to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget and to the highest standard through the project through to completion
• keen interest in design (from antique to contemporary), curious to learn new technique’s, methods and processes
• proficient in Vectorworks, SketchUp, Photoshop, Excel and Words, and InDesign 

Responsibility midweight position:

• assist in the development of overall design concepts and maintains the continuity of those concepts through the entire project from concept to completion within the programme and budget
• participate in presentations 
• assist the senior team in all aspects of their responsibilities

Responsibility senior position:

• ability to take creative direction and translate it from concept to production
• comprehensive experience leading a small team
• be responsible and directly involved in all aspects of a project from the conception, drawing package, procurement and installation
• be responsible for the quality of the project compared to its budget and client’s expectations 
• keen interest in design, curious to learn new techniques, methods and processes
• ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time

Tala Fustok is a young company working on both commercial and high-end residential projects. We are working at the moment on luxury residential projects in London and Paris and are just starting a couple of commercial projects.
