Studio assistant

Watershedd is looking for a studio assistant to join its team in London.
Watershedd is a unique design-led architecture and development company based in London and Cornwall. Working predominantly in the south-west on high-end private houses and bespoke commercial projects. We have a number of existing projects on site and in the design process, some of which are our own developments and others for private individuals.
We are looking for a studio assistant to provide administrative support for our team and to ensure the smooth running of the studio. The role would include general office management as well as personal assistant responsibilities to our directors. We envisage this person to be a central role to the running of our office liaising with all team members. We would ideally like someone who has an interest or previous knowledge in marketing and PR as we would like to expand the role to include this. As most of our jobs are in Cornwall; the ability to travel back and forth when needed is a must.
Responsibilities:
- answering telephone calls and all ‘front-of-house’ duties
- coordinating directors’ diaries and providing assistance and support to the directors
- project administration
- managing and purchasing office materials and supplies
- managing marketing material and images
- arranging events
- website administration
Qualities:
- excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
able to take the initiative in developing new office procedures - professional telephone manner
- reliable and dependable
- excellent attention to detail
- conscientious and creative
- ability to multi-task
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Adobe Creative Suite experience is desirable, but not a requirement
- experience in office management and administration is not essential – we are looking for the someone with the right attitude who can grow into the role
Current eligibility to work in the UK and good written and spoken English. UK Drivers licence and car highly desirable. This will be a full time role based in our London studio.
