Nine United has an opening for a spatial designer to join its team in London.

Nine United is looking for a dedicated spatial designer whose role it is to ensure both our London and Paris showrooms perfectly reflect our brands identities and values. You will be working closely with each brands design team on creating inspiring spaces, as well as working with the sales teams on making sure their needs are met in the spatial design.
The role is full-time, permanent and based in London, frequent travel to Paris and Copenhagen will be required. The position is to be filled immediately.

Duties and responsibilities:
- creating inspiring spaces for our brands, &Tradition, Frandsen, Verpan and NINE in London and Paris
- working in close collaboration with each brand’s design team on creating cutting-edge spaces
- organise showroom refurbs according to each brand’s individual yearly plan and following brand guidelines
- project managing, ordering and coordinating refurbs and new product launches
- working to showroom budget
- working closely with the local sales teams on implementing their needs into the design
- implementing sales campaign within each showrooms
- plan and execute events according to each brand’s individual launch plan
- ensure the showroom is in perfect shape at the start of each day
- attend showroom meetings with all showroom managers, including travel to brand’s head office
- take responsibility for the botanical styling as well as overall interior styling and art
Reporting to: UK sales manager
About you
You are open-minded and you have a great sense of enthusiasm and interest in design, furniture and lighting. You have a natural instinct and talent for creating compositions from colour and material.
You care about the commercial effectiveness of displays and exhibitions and enjoy interacting with colleagues across functions. Even though you enjoy being part or a team, you’re also confident and happy to work independently. You are organised, result-driven and have a hands-on approach in general.
You are flexible and happy to travel around 30 per cent of the working time.
Profile:
- one to two years’ work experience in a similar work environment – interior design, interior styling background
- proficient in Rhino and Keyshot
