Position responsibilities:

• assists with creating proposals for various functional and geographic markets, under direction from others
• assists in the creation of marketing collateral for interviews and other presentations, under direction of others
• updates marketing collateral including resumes, project pages, etc. under direction from others
• conducts research on potential clients, leads and projects
• uses salesforce as reference for SOM project facts
• develops working knowledge of A/E/I services offered by SOM, with knowledge of local portfolio
• assists with other duties and tasks as may be required

Minimum qualifications:

• completion of four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities
• zero to two years’ experience in marketing within the A/E/C industry
• demonstrable experience in visualisation of content and coordination of  internal/external contributors
• strong writing and graphic design skills with the ability to conceptualise layouts within defined brand standards with efficient turnaround
• strong organizational skills
• ability to work with senior leaders across a firm
• strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. Some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• keen interest in marketing and the architectural and engineering industry
• experience with Salesforce CRM and OpenAsset is a plus
• ability to work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
