Position responsibilities:
- assists with creating proposals for various functional and geographic markets, under direction from others
- assists in the creation of marketing collateral for interviews and other presentations, under direction of others
- updates marketing collateral including resumes, project pages, etc. under direction from others
- conducts research on potential clients, leads and projects
- uses salesforce as reference for SOM project facts
- develops working knowledge of A/E/I services offered by SOM, with knowledge of local portfolio
- assists with other duties and tasks as may be required
Minimum qualifications:
- completion of four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities
- zero to two years’ experience in marketing within the A/E/C industry
- demonstrable experience in visualisation of content and coordination of internal/external contributors
- strong writing and graphic design skills with the ability to conceptualise layouts within defined brand standards with efficient turnaround
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work with senior leaders across a firm
- strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. Some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- keen interest in marketing and the architectural and engineering industry
- experience with Salesforce CRM and OpenAsset is a plus
- ability to work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
