David Chipperfield Architects is seeking senior architects to join its team in London.
David Chipperfield Architects’ London office is looking for exceptional architects to work as part of our design teams on a variety of projects both within the UK and internationally. This role requires ARB certification (UK Part 3 or equivalent) and at least eight years’ of experience on multidisciplinary design-led architectural project teams, with experience as a project architect or as a package lead for a large project team.
Applicants should have a demonstrable interest in design excellence, critical thinking, and the societal impact of architecture, alongside strong people management skills. The practice is committed to improving the sustainability of its work and to addressing the gender and race diversity balance on its leadership team. Candidates should be confident to add their vision and voice to various strategic initiatives across the practice.
The practice’s design work is largely focussed on early-stage concept, SD and DD. The role is therefore best suited to individuals with a strong design strategy focus who enjoy the collaborative processes of design in a studio environment.
