Interior architect

Studio Indigo is hiring an interior architect to join its team in London.
Studio Indigo is looking for a senior interior architect with over five years’ experience in all phases of project, from concept development to technical design and construction.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading projects with an architecture background and have a passion for design.
Studio Indigo is a dynamic collective of architects, technicians and interior designers working all under one roof in a highly collaborative and fun environment, working on a range of residential, commercial, hospitality and yacht projects in London and internationally.
Role and responsibilities:
- pitch work and lead concept design. Developing design from original brief through to completion
- producing mood presentations using images/sketches/ samples etc. to best communicate ideas and suggestions
- space planning to clients’ brief. Producing technical drawings – including plans, sections, elevations and details
- understand and produce architectural and FF&E drawings, schedules and specifications
- coordinate and communicate well, particularly when dealing with other
consultants and suppliers - design development and technical design
- attend client meetings in a confident and professional manner
- attend site, factory and supplier visits and be comfortable with all stages of the construction process
- technical drawings and coordination, developing schemes, reviewing shop drawings
Required skills and experience:
- five years’ minimum experience within high-end residential design
- excellent attention to detail
- ability to adapt and respond to a clients’ changing requirements
- show sense of scale and ability to think three dimensionally
- demonstrate good understanding of materials and construction techniques
- work autonomously and show a pro-active attitude
- communicate effectively with team members internally
- demonstrate confident presentation skills and design team communication
- manage multiple projects simultaneously
- working to a deadline in a fast paced, busy environment
- experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In Design, SketchUp,
Microsoft Excel - hand sketching is not essential but advantageous
