Kiani Architects is looking for Part 3 architects to join its London studio.
Kiani Architects is a design-led studio based in London a short distance from Old Street, working in the contemporary workplace and mixed-use sectors. We are a small, but growing, friendly studio. We’re people-focused and design-led, working on a range of interesting and ambitious projects in London.
We have an urgent need for architects to work on live projects, however, we will welcome applications from people who meet our requirements.
The role
Working closely with the director to lead and deliver your project, you would be required to design, develop and coordinate projects independently or with support.
You will be familiar with designing workplace projects, or similar large-scale projects, and the contribution of SMEP consultants. The position would suit someone who wants to use their prior experience to pursue a role with greater responsibility and authorship in the design process.
The person:
- ARB registered architects with an understanding of planning processes and experience across the RIBA work stages
- experience with composing Stage 3 and Stage 4 information for planning submission
- a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to communicate ideas and concepts with hand sketches, renders and technical details
- project running and team management experience
- proven ability to develop and coordinate designs with external consultants
- ability to work with a team to achieve a common goal
- excellent 2D & 3D CAD skills within AutoCAD and REVIT workflows, alongside a working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- confidence in writing reports for local authorities and stakeholders
