Tonkin Liu is seeking a landscape architect to join its team in London.

Tonkin Liu is looking for a practical and poetic landscape architect for our growing team. We would like the candidate to have a passion for architecture, art, and nature.

We are proud to have recently won a number of design competitions, for London-based landscape, art and public realm projects. Each one of these projects is a holistic entity integrating architecture, art, infrastructure, and landscape. Other projects underway include a multiple-unit mixed-use development in Hackney, a regeneration project in Grays consisting of buildings and riverfront ecology, a development framework project for Walthamstow town centre, a landscape-artwork project at Coal Drops Yard, and a new landscape in Brent Cross Town.

We are an innovative London-based architecture studio with a highly acclaimed portfolio of finely crafted buildings, landmark public sculptures, and regenerative urban landscapes. We are the recipient of 21 RIBA Awards, the 2018 and 2021 Stephen Lawrence Prize, and are a selected RIBA Role Model practice.

Required skills:

  • superb organisational skills
  • experience in delivering landscape projects, from concept through to delivery
  • experience of public realm projects
  • advanced 2D and 3D draughtsmanship: Rhino required, Vectorworks preferred
  • high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • ability to work imaginatively and rigorously, both independently and in a team
  • fluency in written and verbal English
