Natural History Museum is seeking a 3D designer to join its team in London.
Join us as part of the exhibitions and 3D team at Natural History Museum’s design studio as we develop exciting new exhibitions and displays that bring to the fore the collections and scientific research carried out by the Museum’s scientists. This role will be crucial in shaping the way we respond to the challenges of the planetary crisis and the museum’s attitude in response, and how we communicate this with our visitors through our displays and exhibition programme.
In this role you will collaborate with other creatives and museum colleagues to deliver inspirational displays that help position the museum as a driving force at the intersections of science, culture and art at local, national and international level.
The design studio is situated on the fifth floor overlooking the towers of our building in South Kensington and is at the heart of everything public facing at the Natural History Museum. We are a dynamic team of graphic designers, 3D/exhibition designers and architects responsible for strategically developing and designing for our buildings, temporary and permanent exhibitions, brand identity, visual communication, and marketing campaigns.
We are looking for talented and creative 3D designers, interior architects or Part 1 (or above) architects. You should have a degree (or equivalent) and a high standard portfolio which demonstrates your exceptional creative, drawing and technical skills. You should enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and have a passion for design.
