Creative projects manager

Jinny Blom Studio is hiring a creative projects manager to join its team in London.
Part-time, short-term contract/freelance.
Role is anticipated to be two to three days per week.
Jinny Blom Studio is looking for a highly motivated creative individual to support the director.
We are principally a landscape architecture studio specialising in unique and inspiring projects in Europe, the US and around the world.
As well as designing landscape architecture the director is also a bestselling author and creative. She is currently writing her second book for the renowned publisher Quarto. She has also designed a paint range that has been developed in collaboration with Royal Warrant holder Mylands. Both the book and paint range have a launch date of Autumn 2023. Both these specific projects need creative support and focus to bring them to completion.
We need someone who has a proven track record of managing and delivering creative projects, a background in project delivery in fashion, art, advertising, journalism or PR would be helpful. You will be a strong communicator, highly motivated and able to work collaboratively with a wide range of people.
It is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a supportive, inspiring, multidisciplinary team. The studio is based in Clerkenwell, London, close to Exmouth Market.
Essential skills
Not limited to the following:
- storyboarding for project shoots with the director
- developing PR strategies with the director and the PR team
- organising and managing high end photoshoots with renowned photographers, including get ins and get outs
- organising book shoots
- organising promotional activities in collaboration with Jinny Blom, FLAX PR and Mylands
- research and development on book topics as requested by the Director
- ongoing liaison with Here Design for book related project management
- research and development on studio related work
- collaborating with the studio team and studio manager
- excellent note taking, record keeping, project management skills and follow up
- track record of delivering high standard projects in a creative environment
- good aesthetic sensibilities
- an open mind and collaborative attitude
- willingness to work occasional late or early days as shoots dictate
- experience with Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign and Photoshop
- copywriting skills
- excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- happy and outgoing personality
- a clean driving license
Excellent salary and package.
