Squire and Partners is seeking a full time junior architectural illustrator to expand its in-house illustration department at its London practice.
The candidate must be passionate about architecture and the visual communication of ideas, with a keen eye for the composition of images. A background in architecture, interiors or illustration is required.
As a part of the illustration department, you will work alongside both architects and interior designers to create high quality, atmospheric imagery, working on exciting and varied projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- a good understanding of the Adobe creative suite
- some understanding of 3D software such as SketchUp
- knowledge of Enscape, knowledge of working within architectural programmes such as Revit would be beneficial
- be self-driven, with a good eye for composition, palette and detail and be passionate about architecture and visual presentation
The successful candidate should be keen to learn from our experienced team, with a good eye for composition, palette and detail and be passionate about architecture and visual presentation. The successful candidate should be keen to learn from our experienced team, be willing to further develop their skillset, while also having enough experience to manage their own workload. They must have excellent attention to detail, be organised and efficient, with the ability to work towards tight deadlines.
This position is permanent, working with a small team on 3D visuals, hand drawn illustrations, diagrams and colourings.
