Art&Graft has an opportunity for a studio manager to join its team in London.
The role
As studio manager you are responsible for the efficient and productive day-to-day running of the studio and a central figure in fostering the studio culture and ethos.

We believe in the power of collaboration and work closely with brands and in-house creative teams all around the globe from our central London studio.
Through our weekly Spark Sessions and creative masterclasses we create space for every member of our team to develop new skills, try new things and work on studio projects around commercial ones.
We’re looking for a super organised and upbeat studio manager to join our team of multidisciplinary creatives and producers.

Who you are:
- you are proactive, motivated, technically adept, creatively curious and super-organised
- great communication skills and a brilliant relationship builder; passionate about the creative industry and animation in particular; tenacious in doing the best job for the client
- proactive self-starter with a focussed attention to detail
- technically adept but not expert
- excellent self-organisation and time management; can cope with a number of sometimes conflicting tasks at the same time
- comfortable working as part of a team; able to deal with conflict effectively
- prepared to sometimes work more than standard hours at short notice to get the job done
What you’ll do:
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the studio by:
- providing the first point of contact for the company to all visitors, deliveries, phone calls and other incoming inquiries
- maintaining the general appearance of the studio and ordering general office supplies and sundries
- preparing the studio for meetings, providing refreshment etc.
- building strong and positive relationships with suppliers, constantly striving to obtain competitive quotes and optimise profitability
- keeping on top of our financial administration (using Xero): inputting all credits and debits, raising and issuing invoices to clients, logging and paying supplier invoices, sales analysis, assisting with business planning and yearly audits
- ensuring all IT admin is in order: through installing new equipment and software, keeping our GSuite in order and speaking to our external IT team for troubleshooting issues
- keeping up-to-date with software, tools and developments in the industry that can be used to the benefit of clients and the team
- assisting with work visas for any foreign workers
- assisting the head of production and CEO with onboarding processes
You will also be responsible for fostering and maintaining the studio culture by:
- organising the social programme for the year
- assisting with our Masterclass talk events
- managing and tracking our development package
- organising our Work Experience Programme and any mentoring schemes
