Santa Cruz Co. is looking for a talented junior designer to join its London office.
We are a leading international hospitality group founded by restauranteur and interior designer Juan Santa Cruz.
Casa Cruz London opened its doors in July 2015 as the first UK addition to Santa Cruz Co. after a succession of popular restaurants and bars in Buenos Aires. Following the success of Casa Cruz London, Isabel Mayfair opened in the spring of 2017 with Nathalie (Hanover Square) and Casa Cruz New York soon to open.
Each Santa Cruz property is the embodiment of Juan’s warmth, hospitality and impeccable taste – creating spaces rather than restaurants, experiences rather than dining, a hospitality group and a lifestyle brand.
This is a unique, exciting and varied role where you will work closely with the design and development team focusing primarily on upcoming projects in both London and New York.
Your responsibilities:
- packaging design
- aid and advise interior design within the Santa Cruz group
- aid and advise graphic design within the Santa Cruz group
- aid and advise website and app development having creative input where needed
- offer creative and/or design input wherever necessary
- co-ordinate generally with the development team and the FOH restaurant teams
- menu design for our primary site menus as well as frequent bespoke private events
Requirements:
- excellent skills in Adobe CS – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and use of Apple software generally
- excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully articulate and present your ideas
- happy and motivated to work both independently and within a team, depending on the project
- ability to multitask and detail orientated
- knowledge of modern branding techniques and trends
- experience in retail and/or fashion would be ideal, although not essential
- packaging experience preferable
- CAD familiarity preferable
