Eve Waldron Design is looking for a dynamic mid-weight interior designer to join its team in Cambridge, UK.

Based in the heart of Cambridge we are an award winning, progressive interior design and architecture practise. We have a diverse spectrum of clients spanning across commercial enterprises, educational institutions and residential projects creating unique and memorable spaces.
Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, creative interior designer with proven commercial project experience to join our growing team. You will help us design and deliver a variety of projects using sound technical, construction and building regs knowledge and excellent CAD skills.
This is a key role in a growing business, you will need strong time management skills and be able to take ownership of projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, resources and budgets effectively. You will need to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including clients, architects, contractors and fellow designers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- exceptional communication skills to articulate your design vision and collaborate effectively
- help maintain consistently high quality design on all projects
- help implement and follow systems to manage work
- strong project management and scheduling skills, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality
- space planning
- specification of products, furniture/materials
- CAD drawing – technical drawings
- project costings
Knowledge, skills and attributes:
- proficiency in industry-standard design software; AutoCAD or similar
- good presentation skills including hand drawing and photoshop
- InDesign and Photoshop
- knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point
- product, furniture and materials knowledge
- SketchUp would be an advantage
- excellent communication skills/fluent English speaker
- organised and systematic
Credentials and experience:
- interior design/architecture degree or similar
- four years work experience
- experience managing or working within a team
