Simon Ronan Landscape Architects (SRLA) is an ambitious international landscape architecture practice collaborating with leading global architects on a highly diverse portfolio of projects.
Our work spans high-end hospitality and regeneration projects in Europe, large-scale masterplanning projects in Asia, and luxury hotels and resorts in the Mediterranean and the Middle East. We design landscapes of depth, meaning and ecological value – with a strong focus on sustainability, native planting, and regenerative approaches.
While based in a rural studio in Ireland, SRLA works at the highest international level – producing world-class landscape design in collaboration with some of the best architecture practices in the world.
Location – fully flexible
Our studio is located in the vibrant market town of Skibbereen, West Cork – a beautiful part of Ireland surrounded by wild landscapes and dramatic Atlantic coastline.
The team works flexibly – candidates can be fully remote, hybrid, or choose to work from the studio.
The opportunity
SRLA is growing and is now looking to expand the design team – we welcome applications from landscape architects at all levels, from senior to junior.
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting international projects, in collaboration with top-tier architects – contributing to concept design, masterplanning, detailed design, and project delivery.
We are looking for talented designers who are:
- ambitious and passionate about great landscape design
- interested in working on large-scale, international projects
- strong collaborators, with good communication and team skills
- proactive and self-motivated – comfortable working in an agile, partly remote team
- committed to sustainable and ecologically driven design
Skills and experience for all applicants:
- professional degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
- excellent design, graphic and technical skills
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite andRhino or revit
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- fluency in English
Advantageous:
- experience with Revit (a strong advantage for current projects)
- proficiency in Rhino 3D
- Lumion or twinmotion
- experience delivering international hospitality / public realm / large-scale masterplans
- interest in regenerative design and sustainability
For Senior applicants:
- minimum five years’ post-degree experience through all phases of design
- experience managing projects and project teams
- confidence working directly with clients and international collaborators
- strong project management and stakeholder management skills
