Junior and senior designer

Pininfarina Shanghai is hiring a junior and senior designer to join its team in Shanghai.
The difference between the two roles stands in the working years, with one to three years’ experience needed for the junior position and five to eight for the senior one. The candidate can be Italian or someone who studied in Italy and wants to return to China.
Main tasks and responsibilities / 主要任务和职责:
- work with the design team in the development of the initial design/sketch up to the final model
- translate the sketches into fast 3D models in order to evaluate volumes, proportions and ergonomic aspects
- participate in the creative development of new concepts and the evolution of concepts in development
- create and plan the activities and deliverables for each design phase
- able to provide innovative and technical solutions
- be an active participant, team player and individual contributor in the complete design process
- communicate with clients and be able to give directions and recommendations to reach the desired result
Required education and experience / 教育背景及工作经验:
- bachelor’s degree/diploma in architectural/interior design/auto design/industrial or equivalent
- three-plus years’ experience working in an architectural design/auto design/industrial design and project delivery environment, delivering complex, large-scale projects
- affinity with 3D modelling of complex architecture/automotive
- comprehensive knowledge and experience with Revit, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, Adobe Suite
- 3ds Studio and Maya experience is advantageous
- experience with data-driven approaches and analytics is advantageous
- fluent in English and Mandarin – spoken and written proficiency
