Nick Leith-Smith Architecture & Design is looking for a Part-II hospitality architect to join its practice in London.
About us
Nick Leith-Smith Architecture + Design has an enviable track record of award-winning, commercially successful projects. We are currently looking for a passionate Part-II hospitality architect to join our expanding team.
This exciting new role has been created to meet the increasing number of projects the studio has in the hospitality sector, including restaurants, bars, hotels, arenas and stadia. The opportunity is best suited to someone with experience in the hospitality sector and will require the successful candidate to collaborate with a multi-disciplined team.
Key skills required:
- have gained a recognised Part-II or equivalent degree qualification
- three to five years relevant experience working in an architectural practice
- strong experience in designing restaurants, bars and F&B spaces
- confident using Vectorworks, InDesign and Photoshop
- good working knowledge of UK planning and building regulations
- experience working across all RIBA work stages including, concept design presentations and mood boards, construction drawing, site visits and inspection
- ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines
- an impressive portfolio displaying good technical knowledge and strong design skills
- confident communicating with clients, contractors and project managers with good hand sketching skills an advantage
