Nick Leith-Smith Architecture + Design is seeking a middleweight interior designer to join its team in London.
About us
Nick Leith-Smith Architecture + Design has an enviable track record of award-winning, commercially successful projects. We are looking for a passionate mid-weight interior designer to join our expanding team. The studio is currently working on a range of projects from larger hospitality projects (including restaurants, bars, hotels, arenas and stadia) to smaller scale retail and high-end residential. This is an exciting time for the business and a great opportunity for someone with experience in these areas to develop their skills and knowledge.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following skills and abilities…
Key skills required:
- educated to masters level in a relevant discipline, or to degree level with appropriate experience
- three to five years industry experience
- strong experience in designing restaurants, bars and F&B spaces
- confident using Vectorworks, InDesign and Photoshop
- good technical knowledge
- confident communicating with clients, contractors and project managers
- ability to prioritise time effectively to meet internal and external deadlines
- creating concept presentations and mood boards
- ability to communicate via sketching is an advantage
