Mark Fairhurst Architects has vacancies for a project architect/Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Mark Fairhurst Architects is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and talented project architect/Part 2 architectural assistant to work on a variety of projects including commercial listed building conversions, extensions and new build, new build residential and domestic extensions and refurbishment projects.
We work in a studio based architectural team environment located near London Bridge. We are an RIBA chartered practice and support our staff with personal career development.
All candidates must have:
- design team leadership or support depending upon your level of experience
- client and contractor/sub-contractor and supplier liaison including on-site inspections
- technical design experience
- knowledge of planning and building regulations
- experience working with Revit model with multiple users
- a desire to work within a small practice environment
- excellent communication skills
- ability of working within a team
- experience working with and coordinating external consultants
- relevant architectural qualifications
- previous professional work experience in architectural practice (minimum two years)
- RIBA stages 1 to 5 design experience
- excellent design and CAD skill including with working in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp
- fluency in English
