There is a vacancy for an interior design student intern at Yoo to join its team in London.
Yoo is an interior concept, branding and lifestyle company with a dedicated design studio that works with some of the world’s biggest names in the design industry.
Yoo is currently looking to recruit a strong interior designer intern to join its London team. This position will provide opportunities to work on exciting high-end residential and hospitality projects worldwide.
Key aspects:
- organize and maintain the material samples library
- liaise with suppliers to source material and FF&E samples
- contributing to updating documentation, minutes and schedules as required
- assist designers in producing conceptual and schematic design presentations
- research concepts/image sourcing and assist in creating mood boards
- create sample boards and research new materials and techniques in collaboration with the design team
Desired skills and experience:
- currently in its second-plus year of interior design degree
- available two days per week
- fluency in spoken and written English
- knowledge of Excel, Vectorworks, Adobe CS is beneficial for this role
- ability to visualize concepts in 2D and 3D
- excellent organizational skills
- willingness to learn and grow with the studio
- confident in liaising with outside suppliers
