Jo Cowen Architects is hiring an architect to join its team in London.
We are looking to recruit an architect to join our high-end residential team.
The successful candidate would need to be able to present ideas, think rationally and engage with clients and contractors. Collaboration is key to our success and so the ability to work productively as part of a team and independently is essential. Candidates should be highly motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills in addition to excellent design focus, an eye for detail and a desire to develop their role within the practice.
The right candidate will have the following combination of skills and experience:
- three plus years’ experience in practice post-qualification
- high-end residential experience
- ability to lead on projects through all RIBA stages 0 to 7
- ability to manage and lead a project team
- excellent presentation skills
- excellent knowledge of building regulations and construction detailing
- excellent knowledge of MicroStation
- knowledge of graphics software, such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is essential
