Project architect
at Wendover Studio
Wendover Partners is looking for a project architect to join its growing team in London.
You will join the Architecture Studio within Wendover, working to design and deliver exciting projects across all work stages.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the project, working with a team under the guidance of senior staff.
The ideal candidate has exceptional design skills, is highly motivated and has experience through all architectural design and construction stages. You are passionate about designing and delivering high-quality and well-resolved projects.
Experience on private residential projects is required, both new build and renovation, with the ability to work independently and manage a small team. You will confidently take a lead in the delivery of projects supported by our senior team.
The role will encompass all RIBA stages, working with clients from concept through to completion. Experience is therefore required in running meetings, design coordination, technical and detailed drawing, and on-site delivery.
Requirements:
- exceptional design skills
- ARB registered
- a minimum of two years’ experience post Part 3 with at least two years running projects in the UK
- experience of listed buildings preferred
- good technical knowledge and detailed drawing ability
- strong communication, coordination and organizational skills
- great presentation skills
- structured working methods and analytical thinking
- able to work independently and in a team
- Microstation and ArchiCAD experience preferred
- fluent in English
- the right to live and work in the UK
