Tom Faulkner is seeking a graphic design/communications executive to join its team in London.
Tom Faulkner is an award-winning creative business which makes beautiful and distinctive furniture. We have workshops in Wiltshire and showrooms in London and New York. In addition, we are represented in several “partner” showrooms in North America and one in Japan.
We are looking for a dynamic and creative graphic design/comms executive to join the team. This an exciting opportunity for a graphic designer who wants to get more involved in the marketing side of a creative business and who has an interest in design and the world of interiors.
Overview
As graphic designer/comms executive you will report to the marketing manager of the company and will be responsible for creating all of the physical and digital assets for the business, as well as putting together newsletters, presentations and press releases.
Key responsibilities:
- comms (in conjunction with the marketing manager)
- designing and writing newsletters
- designing and writing press releases and overseeing PR company copy
- creating sales presentations for sales team
- creating digital brochures and content for the sales team to align with strategy
- graphic design (in conjunction with the marketing manager)
- making changes/updates to the website
- setting advertisements
- designing and updating email signatures
- designing: business cards, invitations, postcards, Christmas cards, vinyls/signage, brochures, corporate gifts, tote bags, branded products – glass cleaner, caps, etc., branding – sample boxes, totes
- designing packaging for: accessories, workshop wrapping, tape, labels, glass cleaner etc.
- image library management
- image presentation to the team
Skills/experience required:
- three plus years’ experience in a similar role
- thorough understanding of marketing principles and practices
- Adobe creative suite
- thorough knowledge of social media
- excellent IT skills
- strong copywriting skills
- strong organisational and communication skills
