TateHindle is looking for a bid coordinator/graphic designer to join its team in London.

TateHindle, an award-winning architecture and design practice based in Shoreditch, is seeking a talented and creative individual to join their team as a bid coordinator/graphic designer.

We work with high-profile clients on a diverse range of projects across both commercial and residential sectors, including innovative new builds to the sensitive restoration of listed buildings.

We focus on creating inspiring spaces where people can work, learn and create, while fostering sustainable communities and designing beautiful buildings for everyone to enjoy.

In this role, you will take ownership of the creation of bids and client presentations, working closely with directors and associates. In addition to creating bids, you will also be responsible for maintaining our marketing collateral and assisting with the preparation of project reports and design and access statements (DAS).

Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with time management and attention to detail, will be essential.

The idea candidate will be someone experienced in graphic design, particularly within the architecture and design sectors, who possess a can-do attitude and thrives in a collaborative, dynamic setting.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • develop high-quality branded presentations, reports, bid documents and brochures
  • prepare and maintain studio templates to create clear, concise and functional documents for all the team
  • oversee graphic standards across the company including reports and submissions – ensuring consistency across teams
  • work with the directors and associates to prepare graphic content for social media and the website
  • maintain a library of resources and information to support bids and marketing activities that includes images, photography, films, project information and CVs and ensure this information is kept up-to-date
  • work with the directors to identify potential industry awards and assist with the preparation of award submissions
  • organise project photography (where required)
  • assist with other administration tasks on occasion

Skills/experience required:

  • passion for architecture and design, with a creative and proactive approach
  • excellent written and oral communications skills
  • strong design and curatorial sense
  • keen attention to detail
  • experience and understanding of the architectural bid process
  • self-motivated and well-organised with excellent personal time management skills
  • ability to make decisions in a time-pressurised situations
  • high level of team spirit with a collaborative and positive approach
  • advanced knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • a degree in graphic design or visual communication or equivalent
